Thank you for visiting the official website and social media accounts (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Official Accounts”) operated by IWASE COSFA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).

To ensure effective and respectful communication with all users of our Official Accounts (hereinafter referred to as “Users”), the Company has established these Community Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as “these Guidelines”).

By accessing or using the Official Accounts, you are deemed to have reviewed and agreed to these Guidelines.

1.Purpose of the Official Accounts

The Company operates its Official Accounts for the purpose of public relations and communication with Users.

2.Compliance with Terms of Use and Community Guidelines

All Users of the Official Accounts are required to comply with the terms of use established by the respective social media platforms as well as those set forth by the Company, including these Guidelines.
By using the Official Accounts—whether by posting, uploading, providing content, or simply viewing them—Users are deemed to have agreed to these Guidelines.

3.Access to User Information

By registering with or engaging on the Official Accounts, Users are deemed to have consented to the Company accessing information that the User makes available to the public or to a subset of social media users (including the Company), such as their account name, profile photo, gender, user ID, friend list, other network-related information, and posts.
The Company may view, comment on, and otherwise interact with this information in accordance with the operational needs and intended purposes of the Official Accounts.

4.Important Notes

The Company is unable to respond to inquiries regarding the system operations of each social media platform, features of associated software or applications, how to use them, or any technical questions.

The Company reserves the right to remove posts or content, block access to the Official Accounts, or take other necessary actions without prior notice to the User.

The Company does not guarantee that it will follow all Users who follow the Official Accounts. In some cases, the Company may choose to follow Users who do not follow the Official Accounts.

5.Disclaimers

Information shared on social media by the Company or its employees does not necessarily reflect the official statements or views of the Company. For official announcements or statements, please refer to our corporate website or official press releases.

The content on the Official Accounts reflects the information available at the time of posting. While the Company strives to ensure the accuracy of the information it provides, it does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, timeliness, safety, or reliability of any content on the Official Accounts.

The Company accepts no responsibility for any damages arising from a User’s use of or inability to use the Official Accounts.

The Company is not responsible for any content posted by Users, including comments, photos, or videos. Content posted by Users represents the individual views, opinions, or thoughts of those Users, and does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the Company, its employees, or affiliates.

By posting content, Users represent and warrant that they own all necessary rights and authority and that the content does not infringe on any third-party rights. Users agree to indemnify the Company from any claims or liabilities related to such content.

The Company is not liable for any disputes or issues that may arise between Users or between a User and a third party in connection with the Official Accounts.

6.Prohibited Conduct

When using the Official Accounts, Users must refrain from engaging in any of the following acts, including those that may induce or prepare for such acts (hereinafter referred to as “Prohibited Conduct”).
If a User engages in any Prohibited Conduct, the Company reserves the right, without prior notice, to restrict their access to the Official Accounts and to take any measures necessary to remove the resulting content or effects. The Company may also take legal action, including claims for damages, against Users who engage in Prohibited Conduct.

  • Impersonating the Company or any third party
  • Posting or sending content related to political activities, election campaigning, or religious activities
  • Posting or sending content intended to promote or incite criminal activity
  • Posting or sending inappropriate content, including obscene or sexually explicit material
  • Posting or sending harmful computer programs or code
  • Engaging in acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals, or that may be suspected of doing so
  • Infringing on the rights of the Company or third parties, including copyrights, trademarks, or reputation
  • Posting or sending personal information related to third parties without consent
  • Defaming or slandering specific individuals, companies, properties, or regions
  • Posting or sending commercial content to promote one's own products, stores, or businesses
  • Accessing computers using borrowed names or email addresses
  • Posting or sending content containing any of the following types of expressions (including similar expressions):
    • Content not based on factual events
    • Content that is significantly misleading or factually incorrect
    • Content judged to be excessively emotional
    • Content containing discriminatory expressions
    • Content deemed ethically inappropriate
    • Statements such as “do not buy,” “absolutely avoid,” “worst,” or “terrible,” which the Company deems overly judgmental or assertive
    • Content considered inappropriate or offensive to other users
    • Content suspected of being self-promotional or deceptive
    • Disclosing private correspondence with the Company or third parties
    • Posting false or misleading information
    • Disclosing personal information without the individual’s consent
  • Any other conduct the Company deems inappropriate in light of the intended purpose of the Official Accounts

7.Intellectual Property Rights

All copyrights and other intellectual property rights relating to content posted or published by the Company on the Official Accounts belong to the Company or to rights holders authorized by the Company. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information posted, published, or commented on via the Official Accounts.

Users may not use any content provided through the Official Accounts beyond the scope permitted under copyright laws, including but not limited to reproduction, sale, publication, or distribution, except for personal, non-commercial use.

While the copyright and other intellectual property rights of content posted by Users belong to the respective Users, such content is deemed to be non-confidential and not subject to any reservation of rights once posted on the Official Accounts. By posting such content, the User grants the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the content (including but not limited to reproduction, modification, excerpting, publication, and translation), and is deemed to have agreed not to assert any intellectual property rights, including copyrights or moral rights, against the Company.

8.Handling of Personal Information

When the Company obtains personal information from Users, it will be appropriately managed in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.

9.Revisions to These Guidelines

The Company may revise these Guidelines at any time without prior notice to Users. In such cases, the most recent version of the Guidelines will apply to the use of the Official Accounts.

Unless otherwise specified by the Company, any changes to the Guidelines will take effect upon their publication on the Official Accounts. Continued use of the Official Accounts after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.

10.Compensation and Injunctive Relief

If a User violates these Guidelines and causes damage to the Company as a result, the User shall be liable for compensating the Company for such damages. The Company also reserves the right to seek injunctive relief to prevent or halt any act that constitutes or may constitute a violation of these Guidelines.

11.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Guidelines shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Official Accounts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court in the first instance.

12.Language

Currently, the Company accepts only Japanese-language posts on its Official Accounts and communicates exclusively in Japanese with Users presumed to understand the language.
