- 1931
- Kenjiro Iwase started as an independent cosmetics materials dealer.
- 1935
- Began selling denaturated ethanol to the cosmetics industry.
- 1947
- Office moved to its current location in Dosho-machi, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
- 1948
- Officially established as a company: Iwase Kenjiro Shoten Co., Ltd.
- 1957
- Began importing cosmetics ingredient from Europe and the U.S.
- 1958
- Tokyo Office was established in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
- 1974
- Kenjiro Iwase was appointed the first Chairman of the Kinki Cosmetics Materials Association.
- 1977
- Dainihon Kasei Co., Ltd. was established.
- 1985
- Company name was changed to Iwase Cosfa Co., Ltd.
Kenji Iwase was appointed as new President. - 1992
- Kenji Iwase was appointed Chairman of the Kinki Cosmetics Materials Association.
- 1993
- Tokyo Delivery Center was moved to Tsukuba (Ibaraki Prefecture) and renamed Tsukuba Delivery Center.
- 1998
- New Osaka Main Office building renovation.
Shanghai and Guangzhou offices were established. - 1999
- Beijing office was established.
- 2002
- Acquired ISO9001 certification.
- 2003
- Cosfa International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established.
Tokyo Office was moved to Nihonbashi-Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Korea Office was established.
Acquired ISO14001 certification. - 2005
- Cosfa International Trading (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. was established.

- Paris office was established.

- Cosfa International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch established.
- 2015
- Iwase Cosfa Europe S.A.S established.
Yoshinori Iwase appointed as the new president. - 2017
- Joined Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).
IWASE COSFA VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED established.
Karatsu Logistics and Kyushu office established.
Tsukuba Delivery Center put under direct management of Iwase Cosfa.
IWASE COSFA KOREA COMPANY LIMITED established. - 2018

- Opened an Indonesian representative office.
